You can edit files directly from the file manager. For example, if you want to edit the text contained in the example.txt file, you can edit it directly without having to download it to your local computer.
The following are the steps for Operation Edit Files in the File Manager:
- To edit a file, click the file you want to edit and then click the Edit button on the toolbar, or you can also right-click the file and select the Edit menu.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click the
Editbutton.
- An editor window will appear. If you have finished editing, don't forget to press the Save Changes button so that the changes you make to the file are saved.
Although in Cpanel there are facilities for editing, only some files can be edited (such as image files that cannot be edited).
