How to Install Cloudflare Extension on Plesk

This guide will help you install and enable the Cloudflare extension in Plesk for improved performance and security.


1. Log in to Plesk

Go to:

https://your-server-ip:8443

Log in using your Plesk admin credentials.


2. Open the Extension Catalog

  • In the left sidebar, click Extensions

  • Then click Extension Catalog (usually found at the top right)


3. Search for “Cloudflare”

In the search box, type:

Cloudflare

Look for ServerShield by Cloudflare or similar. This is the official Cloudflare integration for Plesk.


4. Click Install

Click the Install button next to the extension.
Wait for the process to complete (it usually takes a few seconds).


5. Connect Your Cloudflare Account

Once installed:

  • Go back to Extensions > My Extensions

  • Open the Cloudflare extension

  • Enter your Cloudflare account email and API key
    → You can get your API key from your Cloudflare dashboard under Profile > API Tokens


6. Enable Cloudflare for Your Domain

  • Go to Websites & Domains

  • Select your domain

  • Click the new Cloudflare icon under domain tools

  • Click Enable or Activate


Done!

Cloudflare will now protect your site with:

  • CDN and caching

  • SSL (optional)

  • DDoS mitigation
