How to Check Logs in Plesk

Plesk provides access to important server and website logs — including access logs, error logs, and mail logs — directly from the dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to Plesk

Go to:

https://your-server-ip:8443

Log in with your admin or domain credentials.

Step 2: Go to Websites & Domains

From the left-hand menu, select Websites & Domains.

Choose the domain whose logs you want to view.

Step 3: Click “Logs”

Under the domain’s toolset, click the Logs option.

This will open the real-time logging console for the selected domain.

Step 4: View Log Types

At the top of the Logs page, you can choose which logs to view:

  • Access log: shows all requests to your site (useful for traffic and bot tracking)

  • Error log: shows warnings, PHP errors, and failed requests

  • Apache & NGINX logs: for server-level events

  • Mail log: (if available) to view sent or failed email records

You can also filter by log level (info, warning, error) or download logs for offline analysis.

Step 5: Use Live View or Manual Refresh

  • Use Live View (default) to see logs in real time

  • Or click Reload to refresh the logs manually

Optional: Download or Clear Logs

  • Click Download (disk icon) to save a copy

  • Click Clear to empty the visible logs (not recommended unless needed)
