How to Use Imunify in Plesk
ImunifyAV and Imunify360 are security extensions for Plesk that protect your server and websites from malware, exploits, and brute-force attacks — with automatic scanning, cleaning, and real-time protection.
Step 1: Log in to Plesk
Go to:
https://your-server-ip:8443
Log in with your Plesk credentials.
Step 2: Open Imunify from the Sidebar

In the left sidebar, click ImunifyAV or Imunify360

If it's not installed, go to Extensions > Extension Catalog, search for "Imunify", and click Install
ImunifyAV is free with manual cleaning.
Imunify360 is premium with real-time and automatic defense.
Step 3: Scan Your Website

Click Start Scan or Scan All Domains

Imunify will check for:

Malware
-
Infected PHP files
-
Backdoors and injected code
-
Suspicious files
-
Scans usually take a few minutes depending on the size of your files.
Step 4: Review Scan Results
After the scan:

Infected files are listed with their paths

You can click View to see the file content

Choose to Clean, Ignore, or Quarantine
ImunifyAV requires manual cleaning
Imunify360 offers 1-click auto-cleaning
Step 5: Enable Real-Time Protection (Imunify360)
If you're using Imunify360:

Real-time protection is enabled by default

It blocks:

Malware uploads
-
Known exploits
-
Suspicious scripts
-
Brute-force login attempts

You can view blocked IPs and activity logs under the Firewall tab.
Step 6: Configure Automatic Scanning

Go to Settings

Enable scheduled scans (e.g., daily or weekly)

Choose whether to auto-clean or notify only
Step 7: Monitor and Respond
Use Imunify’s dashboard to:

Track threats and activity

View recent scans

Manage quarantine files

Set email alerts for detected threats
